It is difficult for me to explain how I started photography, because I feel like it has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I would take my friends out in the fields by my parent’s house and do mini photo shoots. I entered photography in the county fair and craved the criticism that I heard after my photograph was judged. I wanted to grow and learn. Since then, I have fallen more in love with photography. I thrive on raw emotion that I get to witness throughout this journey. I am humbled and amazed at the moments that I get to be a part of.
I married Aaron in 2013 and since then have fallen in love with wedding photography. Being a bride myself, I wanted gorgeous images. I knew that they would preserve my wedding day better than anything else. With that same mindset, I think about each bride that I get to work with. I want my clients to look back on their photographs with joy and nostolgia.
I live in Knoxville, Tennesee–home of unexplainably delicious sweet tea, gorgeous Smoky Mountains, and so many other things that I love. You can normally find me snuggled up on the couch on a Friday night with a cup of coffee and watching The Office (never gets old) or eating sushi (also never gets old).
