When Elicia asked me to photograph her wedding, I was ecstatic. I have known her since I was an awkward middle schooler– we grew up in the same home town and have stayed connected on social media throughout high school and college.

When she got engaged to Kurt, I felt like they were a PERFECT match. Any photo she posted of the two of them together brought out such genuine joy in her face. I couldn’t wait to get them in front of my camera.

Elicia suggested that we could take photos at their wedding venue, So Serene in Wapakoneta, Ohio– I said, HECK YES. When we drove on the property, I was amazed. There is a gorgeous pond, deck, and beautiful brick and stone everywhere! This venue is absolutely gorgeous and totally is a hidden gem in Ohio. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in August at So Serene!
